The Class A Motorhome represents the ultimate way to travel. Seen as a home on
wheels, the Class A offers everything from kitchens with residential fridge to two
bathrooms and a fireplace. Many family-friendly floor plans offer bunk rooms or
workspace for the home office. Today's Class A's offer large slide outs expanding
the interior space to comfortably accommodate four or more travelers.
Camping in the Class A has many advantages including the ability to operate days without
using city hookups. Interior tanks allow travelers to "boondock" in unlikely locations
and then dump and refill tanks at a later time. This offers campers the flexibility of
seeing the sites without leaving the convenience of home.
The Class A RV offers either gas or diesel engine models. Motorhomes with the diesel engine
in the rear are referred to as "Diesel pushers." Most coaches range from 25-45 feet in length
with oversized windshields and a bus style shape. In addition, large tires and air shocks make
a Class A feel less like an RV and more like a rolling house.
